Prenatal body art can be a great addition to your shower or a special treat for yourself. Rates for groups or showers start at $90 per hour. One artists will spend about 30-90 minutes with the mother to be, depending on the design, and can do a small to medium sized design for each guest in 3-7 minutes a piece. For private appointments there is a minimum one hour fee for house calls, or schedule to make an appointment at our location with no minimum. In this case rates depend on the complexity and size of the design.

If you’re having your art done for a prenatal photo session, please schedule your henna to be done two days in advance of photography. For body paint, schedule for the same day. We’re even glad to meet you at the studio when circumstances permit!

oldschoolbellyTiming for prenatal art can be tricky! Many of our prenatal clients never get the art they were planning on because they delivered before their appointment. Don’t wait until the last minute. We encourage women to schedule for a time AT LEAST two full weeks before their due date.

Use our on line booking tool to schedule now, or use the form below to request a quote. Make sure to include details such as the type of design your interested in, number of guests if aplicable, and your city.

We would never use chemicals or ingredients that are not skin safe, but we go the extra mile to make sure that products we use on expecting mothers are as mild as possible. Henna paste for expecting mothers contains henna leaf powder, water, lemon juice, sugar, and lavender essential oil. Body paints contain paraffin wax, glycerin, calcium carbonate, stearyl alcohol, sodium benzoate, acacia senegal gum, dextrin, water, and FDA approved cosmetic colorants specific to each color of paint.
