Lavandula Officinalis or Lavandula Angustifolia This particular variety surprised us in color tests here. It also has a slightly sweeter scent that you may be used to with other varieties. This is the mildest of essential oils that will improve the color of your paste. This is the best choice for people with sensitive skin and noses. It is also the industry standard for those who are pregnant, nursing, or in fragile health. Bulgarian lavender is a great choice for henna artists because it has higher levels of monoterpene alcohols that improve stain color. (0.5% camphor content)
